Rozkovany level crossing

The subject of reconstruction was to increase the safety of level crossing at 45,938 rkm, at the halt Rozkovany. The company KUMAT realized here the projection works, subsequent engineering as well as the actual construction, including the commissioning of the project.

New level crossing of 3rd category was realized, equipped with lights and whole barriers. Functioning of level crossing was secured by automatic control (drive of the train) by the means of axle counter detectors, with the possibility to be controlled also through the local control box. Power supply of level crossing is performed by the newly built electric connection line. The reconstruction required modification of the existing metallic and optical cabling. Due to the fact, that simultaneously the widening of roads I/67 and III/3188 and their crossings took place, it was necessary to widen and exchange level crossing construction. Under the crossing it was necessary to change the trackbed substructure as well as to modify the direction and height of the tracks.
